CAPABILITIES · PATCHES & SMALL REPAIRS
Failed Areas Repaired. Uptime Protected.
Targeted resinous repairs for audit deficiencies, damaged traffic areas, failed joints, drains, and equipment-constrained spaces.
Patches and Small Repairs To Keep Your Operation Running
Small floor failures become operating problems fast. Potholes catch cart wheels. Eroded joints pound racks and rolling equipment. Delaminated coatings, broken coves, failed drain edges, and uneven transitions create sanitation, housekeeping, and slip-and-fall exposure. When an audit identifies a floor deficiency, the facility needs a repair plan that closes the condition without turning a local problem into a plant-wide shutdown.
The work is rarely in an open room. Repairs sit below pipes, inside equipment footprints, around drains, against columns, and across active traffic lanes. Access, preparation, containment, cure time, and return to service have to be planned around the equipment and the production schedule already in place.
Repair the failure. Restore the route. Keep the facility live.
The Solution
Tufco isolates the failed area, removes unsound material, prepares the substrate, rebuilds the section, and ties the repair into the surrounding floor. The repair scope is built around the actual failure—not a standard kit. Our crews work under and around fixed equipment, pipe supports, drains, curbs, racks, and other obstructions so the facility can correct the damaged area without replacing an entire room.
- Localized access: small-footprint work zones planned around operating equipment, restricted clearances, drains, penetrations, and traffic.
- Texture selection: multiple surface profiles matched to wet service, foot traffic, cart wheels, cleaning, and the surrounding floor.
- Cleanable repairs: a monolithic resinous surface within the repaired area, with transitions detailed to reduce gaps and ledges that can hold particulate.
- Coves and verticals: integral coved base and wall transitions rebuilt where the repair scope includes a failed sanitary detail.
- Chemical exposure: system chemistry selected against the actual acids, alkalis, battery electrolytes, cleaners, and concentrations present in the room.
- Traffic and loading: abrasion-resistant options selected around rack loads, carts, lifts, repeated turning, and joint-edge impact.
- Occupied buildings: low-odor and low-VOC formulation options can be evaluated where ventilation and occupant tolerance limit the installation window.
- Phased execution: isolated night and weekend mobilizations keep unaffected areas live while preparation, installation, cure, and traffic release advance in controlled sections.
If the existing floor is part of an ESD control plan, the repair materials, grounding continuity, resistance range, and post-repair testing must be specified for that system. A standard patch does not create static-control performance by itself. Tufco’s own W-2 crews perform the work—no subcontractors—and completed installations are backed by a 5-year materials-and-workmanship warranty.
5 YEAR WARRANTY
Installed exclusively by Tufco employees. No subcontractors. Ever.
Every installation is backed by an industry-leading 5-year warranty on both materials and workmanship. No fine print. No exceptions.
